You need to get your name or product out there. Nobody is going to buy a product that they don't know exists. While word of mouth is a wonderful way to advertise, it only works with a client that is ready to but a product or service now. If they are looking to utilize your product or service down the road, they most likely will have forgotten your name, and may go to your competitor, who's name is more recognized.
Free Ad Design = Free Advertising?
The Michigan Quarter Horse Journal provides their advertisers with free ad design services. Ads are produced by a professional designer and we share our designs freely with other publications such as the Chronicle of the Horse, NSBA Way To Go and the AQHA Journal. Consider that one of these publications charges $200 for ad design, $100 additional per photo used, and then charges another $200 if you would like that ad sent to any other publication for use. A full page ad in the Michigan Quarter Horse Journal is only $250, and we will gladly send it via email to any other publication free of charge. So, advertising in the MQHA Journal could not only be FREE, it may even make you money!

Programs accepted are QuarkXpress, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Acrobat PDF files. Please include linked artwork and fonts when sending native files. Photos should be 300 dpi at print size, and line art should be 600 dpi at print size.
File Delivery
Files can be emailed to tarakeel@sbcglobal.net or tara@jabaridesign.com or sent on CD or DVD to Jabari Design LLC, 4620 48th Street, Holland, MI 49423.
Camera Ready Ads
Camera-ready (PDF) are preferred. Camera Ready ads will not be proofed. Neither The Michigan Quarter Horse Journal nor Jabari Design LLC will be held responsible for the accuracy, quality or color of Camera Ready ads.
Files Types Not Accepted
Word, Microsoft Publisher, Adobe InDesign and files from any other program that is not listed above will not be accepted. Please save ads created in these programs as Acrobat PDFs to submit.
