 Corinne English named to World Cup Team. Corinne English, the 16 year old daughter of Warren and Laurie English, has been selected to represent the USA in the 2008 American Quarter Horse Youth World Cup to be held in London, Ontario, Canada this summer. Sixteen nations will send teams to compete in this international equestrian competition that promotes communication and goodwill among young horsemen across the world.
’ÄúCorinne is well deserving of this International honor,’Äù said Laurel Walker-Denton of Arizona, Chairman of the Team USA Selection Committee. ’ÄúIt is exciting to see a young rider be so accomplished at this age.’Äù
Corinne is very active in the quarter horse circuit and she has been very successful with Sturgis High School equestrian team earning her the respect of her peers. In addition to her equine success, Corinne is an accomplished violinist and spends free time volunteering in the community. Corinne will be competing with eight other team members from across the nation in the Youth World Cup to be held in July.
